* Tamiya is now releasing these new Super Driftech Tires to help beginners get into this exciting category of R/C Drift driving. Made from resin material, these tires offer less friction than previously released drift tires made from rubber, and can be used to drift on any surface from asphalt to carpet. Less friction also means longer tire life compared to rubber tires, making for less frequent tire changes. In addition, the 24mm width makes this tire compatible with all Tamiya touring car chassis, giving fans the freedom to drift whatever car they want.

I got a few feedback asking about:-

"Why Tamiya tires?"
1. I will try to talk again with Chee Yong once he get back from Japan on this coming Sunday.

2. Tamiya are sponsoring us the venue and of course we have to follow their rules and regulations.

3. Secondly on behalf of the organizer I can't fulfill every individual needs. Just bring it on and take the challenge! ada berani ka?

"What are the prizes?"
1. This answer should be included in the rules and regulations. but to summarize a lil' bit, we will have 3 rounds in total which on every round all of you will get a points - same concept as D1 style .

2. Overall champion with the highest point hopefully will get a car kit - Not sure about 2nd place and 3rd place YET.

3. Series winners will get a trophy and also a gift vouchers (this is what I've been told so far). Yeah I'm talking about 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place.

Just wanted to know few thing before telling my guys...

1)Are we going to have it like pro series n street legal series??
2)Do u have a groupA n groupB in each of this series??
3)Who are the judges??
4)what kind a surface of the track?
5)Is tire going to be open??

James, on behalf of the committee members,

1) If theres enough people to do both classes, then we'll consider on doing 2 categories. Also it depends on the main organizer if he agree to let us do two classes or not.

2) Same like answer no.1

3) U know who. Its either among us committee members n the people around to voice out their opinion if we cant call who's the winner.

4) Most likely tar BUT im not sure, have to double check on this matter.

5) U can refer to the banner on the first post. We have to stick to the main organizer rules. Tires are gonna be closed as far i as know. This are all requirements of the organizer (BIG BOSS himself). We just follow.

If theres any changes then we'll update it here.. stay tune.. cheers..

Actually Type-D not recomended due to high traction, it would be better if you run super Driftech tyres which are similiar compound to Hpi tyres
