RULES AND REGULATION

Section 1. Genaral Rules & Regulations

• Keep your attitude and behavior on check. First & foremost, RC drifting is about FUN. If you’re not having fun then you don’t belong to this event. Unlike other events, where sometimes things can get intense during competition, RC is more about having fun with your fellow drivers. We all want to win, but don’t forget that having fun is the most enjoyable part of our hobby.
• Profanity, obscenities, poor sportsmanship, derogatory actions and baby-like temper tantrums are frowned upon. Any displays of inappropriate behavior can and will get you removed from the event, and possibly future events, at the organizing staff’s discretion.
• Event participant and spectators with or without those participants are expected to act in a relatively mature and professional manner at all times during the event.
• Any of the following will serve as grounds for removal or ban from current and future event: disrespecting other event participants or spectators, use of illegal substances, attempts to destroy or hinder other people’s equipment, stealing, threats of bodily harm, or anything else to seen as negative by the event staff.
• Cheating is for losers, so unless you’re loser – don’t do it. Drivers caught from cheating are subject to being disqualified from the event, and possibly banned from future events.
• We strongly believe that good sportsmanship can get you farther then life. Also, everyone needs help at some point in time; feel free to offer your knowledge to others who are still learning what you already know.
• The host staff, host location, and event sponsors will not be held accountable or responsible for any personal or property damage or loss occurring at this event. By appearing at this event, the participants and spectators acknowledge that they are there on their free will, and that they take responsibility for the safety and security of their person and their equipment / property.
• Remember to come early to avoid any full parking while you were there. This event will hold on weekend and this will happened.
• Don’t forget to bring own extension wire.
• No refunds transfer or exchanges for any entry fees.
• The event staff reserves the right to refuse event participation and/or access to an event for anyone at anytime for any reason at our discretion.
• Rules and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

Section 2. Entry

• Competitors must register at least 3-days in advance before the event.
• Please pay your entry fee before February 6th, 2010 (Saturday)
• Please provide your bank slip as evidence on you payment
• Entries will be accepted at the organizers’ discretion. Organizer and judges have the right to disqualify any competitors at any time.
• For those who coming from outside of Klang Valley and Seremban, you can pay the fees at the event day, BUT make sure, please confirm with the organizer how many drifters will be participate in this event

Section 3. Technical Regulations (PLEASE READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY)
Chassis

• Any brand of chassis may be used.
• The chassis being used must be a 1/10th scale chassis and must be electrically powered (no Nitro Powered vehicles allowed).
• There is no weight limit and there is no ride height limit.
• Wheel nuts must not protrude more than beyond the wheel to ensure safety to other participants’ bodies and equipment.
• No sharp objects or any other object designed to damage other peoples property may be placed onto the car for safety purposes.

Electronics and Radio

• Competitors are advisable to carry more than 2 crystals at all times.
• No person shall turn on their radios without checking with all other
• competitors that their frequency is free to use. Failure to do so may result in major car damage or spectator/competitor injury or DISQUALIFICATION.
• Forward only and Forward/Reverse electronic speed controllers can be used by organizer’s discretion. The use of capacitors is allowed.

Batteries

• NiMh or NiCd cell packs must consist of 6 cells only. No more or no less.
• Any brand of cells may be used to power the car.
• Any capacity cells are allowed to be used.
• Li-Po batteries are also allowed.

Tires

• OPEN TIRES!

Motors

• No limitation for motor turns either brushed or brushless (For further declarations please enquire the organizer).

Body shells

• All cars entered must be realistic when initially entering the competition.
• The body shell must be fastened securely to the chassis at all times whenbeing used.
• Also body shells must be painted if they wish to be used.
• There may be electrical lighting attached to body shells to increase aesthetic qualities.

You can practice on Saturday and be sure you have already prepare your question to Mr Rudy, because he will come to SS19 on Saturday to watch you guys practice. Please make sure you also bring nice bodyshell, because RTM will come to shoot you guys. For those who still did not pay you fees, you can do this on Saturday. Closing date is on Saturday.

09.30 a.m - Concourse Competition (Best Bodyshell)
09.45 a.m - Track Closed ( Participant get Ready to Qualifying Session )
10.00 a.m - Qualifying Session ( 3 judge lap only )
12.30 p.m - Qualifying Session End and Rest/
01.30 p.m - Tandem Battle ( Low Bracket Session )
02.30 p.m - Tandem Battle ( High Bracket Session )
03.15 p.m - Rest ( Breathing Space to Judges to arrange from last place to Champion Position)
03.45 p.m - Price Giving
04.30 p.m - Event End
